FAQs

Pokhara, answered

Can't find your answer? Our travel experts are a call or WhatsApp away, 24×7.

Do Indians need a visa or passport for Nepal?

No visa is needed for Indian citizens. Carry a valid passport or voter ID card. Children can travel with a school ID plus birth certificate.

How do I reach Pokhara from India?

Fly to Kathmandu and connect by a 25-minute flight or a scenic 6–7 hour drive. Overland travellers can enter via the Sunauli border — Pokhara is about 8 hours from there. We arrange all transfers.

When is the best time to visit?

October–November for the clearest Annapurna views, or March–April for spring. Monsoon (Jun–Sep) brings rain and clouds over the peaks.

What adventure activities are available?

Paragliding from Sarangkot, ultralight flights, zip-lining, boating on Phewa Lake, and short Annapurna treks like Poon Hill. We book licensed operators only.

Can I combine Pokhara with Kathmandu or Chitwan?

Absolutely — most of our Nepal itineraries pair Pokhara with Kathmandu, Chitwan or Jomsom-Muktinath. Ask us for a combined itinerary.
