Does Tripmaza book train tickets?

Tripmaza does not book train/rail tickets. You can directly reserve your rail tickets online through the official site of Indian Railways or IRCTC or any authorized rail ticket agents. However, we do provide flight tickets for your convenience. For more details, visit www.tripmaza.com.

How many travellers will be there as a part of a group tour with Tripmaza?

The number of travellers in one group tour varies depending on the destination or tour category or vehicle type used for that tour. The usual group size for an International tour is 40 - 50 guests and for an Indian tour 30 - 40 guests.

Is the tour itinerary fixed? Or does it change while on tour with Tripmaza?

Tripmaza tries its level best to operate the tour as per the original tour itinerary. Sometimes unavoidable, unforeseen situations may occur due to various dependent factors such as state or country regulations, airline, cruise, rail, road transport, hotel, sightseeing, etc. In such cases, we may have to change the original tour itinerary either before the tour or while on tour. Such changes shall be informed to you either before the tour by SMS/Call or while on tour by Tripmaza's Tour Manager.

Can I join or leave a tour midway? Or can I opt for a part tour with Tripmaza?

Doing a full tour is always advantageous; however, you can opt for a part tour subject to availability or join/leave a tour in between. Both these options will have a different tour price, which can be adjusted as per your requirement. Your Tripmaza Travel Advisor will do the needful if confirmed at the time of booking itself.

Can I extend my stay while on a group tour with Tripmaza?

Yes, you can extend your stay after the completion of a group tour or you can have your individual program before the tour and join the tour on day one. Tripmaza has a 'Post Tour Holiday' facility so that you can relax at the last destination of the tour or at any other destination of your choice. Any such extension or deviation from the scheduled program would incur additional charges. Your Tripmaza Travel Advisor will do the needful if confirmed at the time of booking itself.

Can I modify or change my booking after confirmation with Tripmaza?

Yes, any change or amendment is possible subject to availability, with an additional actual cost along with cancellation charges (if applicable). Your Tripmaza Travel Advisor will assist you with amendments as soon as s/he receives confirmation and additional charges.

Will I get a discount over and above the tour price with Tripmaza?

The tour price is net and discount of any kind is not applicable, unless there is any ongoing specific discount offer published on the website.

Do you only do hotel bookings and air tickets for my independent holiday, or can Tripmaza assist with more?

Tripmaza has a division of Customized Holidays which will take care of your such independent holiday requirements.

Does Tripmaza offer tours for Corporates or Institutions?

Tripmaza has an exclusive division that deals with corporate tours. Here, special tours are designed for corporates, industries, institutions, independent organizations, ad-hoc groups, or individuals to facilitate their meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, team building, and other events. This segment is also known as MICE, i.e., Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition.

I am a Non Resident Indian, does Tripmaza have any special tours for me?

Tripmaza has an exclusive 'India Inbound' division, which deals in specially designed tours and packages for foreign nationals or Non-Resident Indians. Of course, you can also joinany of Tripmaza's regular group tours or customized holidays.

Booking & Payment
Can I make full payment for the tour or holiday in one go?

Yes, you can make the full payment at the time of booking itself in one go. Sometimes there are additional benefits for full payment if it is done well in advance, say 3/6/9/12 months prior to the tour departure. Tripmaza Travel Advisor will guide you on the prevailing full payment (if any) at the time of booking.

What is the registration amount that I should pay to book a tour?

To book a tour, you have to pay the registration amount, which varies according to the tour price. You can find the details of the registration amount under the pricing section of a selected tour or on the link: holidays.tripmaza.com.

Is the registration amount refundable?

The registration amount once paid for a tour is non-refundable, subject to the Cancellation and Refund policy.

What are the different payment modes for booking a tour?

To book any tour/package/service, you have to make payment to Tripmaza by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Payment apps/wallets like BHIM, PhonePe, Gpay, PayTM, or any UPI ID. Cash payment in INR will be accepted as per Government of India guidelines along with PAN. Outstation cheques are not accepted. A non-refundable convenience charge of 1.8% of the transaction amount is levied towards IT infrastructure cost on transactions done through Tripmaza's payment gateway using credit card, debit card, or net-banking.

While making payment, the cheque should be in favour of which name?


Do you provide gift vouchers?

Yes, Tripmaza has a facility of Gift Vouchers which can be purchased by the guests and gifted to their near and dear ones on happy occasions. Contact Tripmaza Travel Advisor to purchase the same.

Can I use my gift voucher for my future tour?

Sometimes Tripmaza issues gift vouchers to guests as prize benefits. If you have such a gift voucher, you can redeem it against your future tour with Tripmaza, subject to the Terms and Conditions of the voucher.

Do you provide a Leave Travel Certificate (LTC)?

Yes, Tripmaza provides a Leave Travel Certificate (LTC) to the guest/s for the tour they have undertaken. Your Travel Advisor will issue the system-generated LTC upon your request.

What documents are required at the time of booking?

At the time of booking, you need to present Aadhar Card and PAN for domestic tours and valid passport and PAN for international tours.

What documents should I carry on tour?

For domestic tours in India, all guests must carry air ticket, insurance (if any), the photo identification in the form of Aadhar card, ID Card, PAN card, driving license and school / college ID for students. For International tours, all guests including children and infants must be in possession of a machine-readable passport valid for minimum of 180 days (Six Months) from their tour return date, along with applicable visas, air ticket and insurance copy.

Can I book online?

Yes, you can book a tour online at holidays.tripmaza.com either by paying a full tour price or the registration amount.

Can I make online payment for my tour?

Yes, you can make the payment online through NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Payment app/wallets, like PhonePe, BHIM, Gpay, PayTM, or any UPI ID by logging into your account using your registered mobile number given at the time of booking.

Are the tours open for the LGBTQ+ community?

Does a tour price include air ticket?

Generally, a group tour with Tripmaza includes to and fro air tickets Ex-Mumbai. For every tour, an air ticket-inclusive Ex-Mumbai tour price and a tour price without air tickets (Ex-destination) are available so that guests from anywhere in India or overseas can join the tour at the first destination and leave the tour from the last destination. Tripmaza can also assist these guests in purchasing their air tickets. These Ex-destination guests are also called 'Join and Leaving' (J/L).

Which airline do you book for tours?

We fly with various airlines which are suitable for our category of tours. Selection of airlines depends on the flight schedule, airport, baggage policy, airline terms and conditions, airfare etc. Airline selected for your tour will be informed sufficiently well in advance.

Can we select a specific airline for our tour?

If you are booking an air ticket through Tripmaza or opting for a customized holiday, then you can select your preferred airline. For group tours, airlines are pre-decided, and individual guests do not have the option to select the specific airline. If you want to book a specific airline for your group tour, you can book under the 'Joining and Leaving Guest' category and book your own ticket separately either through Tripmaza or from your travel agent.

Can I change the class of my air travel?

Tripmaza group tours generally include economy class air tickets. If you wish to change the class of travel to premium, business, or first class, you can do so at an additional price, subject to availability. Kindly inform your Travel Advisor at the time of booking itself.

How much baggage is allowed by the airline and is there any restriction on items we carry?

The baggage allowance for check-in & carry-on baggage varies as per the airline and the class of travel. The exact baggage allowance for your scheduled airline will be conveyed to you prior to your departure. Every airline has a list of items restricted to be carried. You will find the details of the same on your air ticket.

Does the air ticket include meals?

Though the blocking of air tickets with the airline happens well in advance, the actual issuance of tickets takes place 15/10/7 days before the departure, depending on the airline. Once the air ticket is issued, an auto email is sent to your registered email ID. Your air tickets can also be found under the 'My Booking' section of the Tripmaza website.

When will I receive my air ticket?

If you are booking an air ticket separately from Tripmaza or opting for a customized holiday, then you can web check-in for your individual tickets. For group tours, as tickets are issued under a group PNR, web check-in is not possible for individual guests. If any guest wants to reserve a specific seat in economy class, they can do so by paying the airline charges 3/5 days before the tour departure. Kindly contact your Tripmaza Travel Advisor for assistance with this.

Can we web check-in on our own?

If you are booking an air ticket separately from Tripmaza or opting for a customized holiday, then you can web check-in for your individual tickets. For group tours, as tickets are issued under a group PNR, web check-in is not possible for individual guests. If any guest wants to reserve a specific seat in economy class, they can do so by paying the airline charges 3/5 days before the tour departure. Can we request a wheelchair on tour?

Wheelchairs are available on request at almost all airports around the world. Most airlines require a medical certificate as the number of wheelchairs is limited at each airport. Depending on the airline and airport policies, a wheelchair request may be chargeable. Kindly contact your Tripmaza Travel Advisor for assistance with a wheelchair request.

Can we get a wheelchair on tour?

Wheel-chair facility is not available on tour. Wheel-chair bound guests will have to carry their own wheelchair and s/he should be accompanied by their family member/s who can move/carry the wheel chair.

What if I lose my baggage/luggage on tour?

In such case before leaving the airport you are required to fill up the complaint claim form at the airline counter. You may need to provide your hotel/ residence details to airline, so your baggage can be sent to your hotel directly by airline if you are on tour.

Hotels
What kind of accommodation is provided on the tour?

Accommodation provided on the tour depends on the category of the tour/ package. It may be in resorts, hotels, houseboats, tents, camps, dormitory, hostels, cruise, train, coach etc. The location of the accomodation generally depends on the tour program.

May I get hotel names at the time of booking?

At the time of booking you will know the suggested names of the hotels or type of accommodation which we generally use for that particular category of tour. These suggested names are mentioned on the website in the tour itinerary. Confirmed list of the hotel/s is sent to you on your registered email ID before the tour departure.

What kind of room will I get on the tour?

Generally, the rooms are twin/ double or single bedded and extra bed (if needed) is provided in the form of a mattress on the floor.

Can I change the type of my room?

Yes, you can upgrade the room to suite/ family room/ specific view room etc. by paying additional price. It is subject to availability.

I am a single traveler, what type of room will I get on the tour?

You can opt for single occupancy room by paying single room supplement/ tour price. Single rooms are comparatively smaller in size and may be located on a different floor or in a corner of the hotel. If you want to save on single room supplement charge then you can book tours like women's special, senior's special, YOLO adventures, treks and hikes etc.

For our family, can we get adjacent or interconnecting hotel rooms on the tour?

Adjacent rooms or interconnected rooms can be made available subject to availability.

Is Wi-Fi facility available at all hotels?

Most hotels provide Wi-Fi, though it may not always be free. Wi-Fi availability varies by location and hotel policy. Your Travel Advisor will inform you if Wi-Fi is included in your stay.

What facilities will be there in my hotel?

Accommodation facility differ according to the type of the tour and destination, and will differ from property to property. Facilities generally include parking, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, gymnasium, spa, salon, swimming pool, sport and entertainment activities, child care/ play centre, meeting room, business centre, travel desk, doctor on call, lift/elevator, porter, laundry, internet, Wi-Fi, telephone, mini bar, alcoholic beverages, paid television channels, air conditioners, in-room safe & amenities, room service etc. All these facilities may or may not be available on complimentary basis and you must check before availing the same. Any charges upon use of such facility must be paid directly to the hotel by you. In remote areas and difficult terrains like Ladakh, Lachung, Spiti Valley etc. the accommodation will be basic with limited facilities.

Do hotels have electric sockets compatible with chargers of Indian phones and cameras?

We suggest you to carry universal adapter that can be used with various types of electric sockets available worldwide.

Food
What type of food will be served on my tour?

Generally on tour meals are served as mentioned in the itinerary/ tour program as B (Breakfast), L (Lunch), D (Dinner). These are pre-set menus which mostly include Indian meals and sometimes local or international cuisine depending on the destination and the tour. The Indian meal menu generally comprises of dal, rice, roti, two vegetables, one non-vegeterian item, salad & accompaniments and dessert.

Can I get diet menu on tour?

In a group tour your special meal/diet request can be accommodated to a limited extent only, and if informed at the time of booking. In such case you should carry your own dry snacks, because at certain locations special request cannot be met.

Will I get a Jain meal on tour?

The registration amount once paid for a tour is non-refundable, subject to the Cancellation and Refund policy.

Do you provide baby meal/ food?

To book any tour/package/service, you have to make payment to Tripmaza by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Payment apps/wallets like BHIM, PhonePe, Gpay, PayTM, or any UPI ID. Do you have arrangements for drinking water on tour?

On Indian tours we provide mineral water bottle or arrange portable water from a nearby source. However, every traveller must carry 1 empty water bottle. Tour Manager or local guide will advise you from where to refill the bottles. You may bring water purification tablets as an additional precaution. On international tours carry an empty water bottle which can be refilled at hotel, restaurant or at various sightseeing places.

if we are big family and friends group, can you organize a separate vegetarian/Jain departure for us?

Yes, it is possible to arrange a separate vegetarian or Jain departure solely for your group with your preferred meal menu and itinerary. Tour price will differ depending on the number of travellers in your group.

Road Travel on Tour
What type of vehicle is provided on my tour?

For an international tour, we use air-conditioned/air cooled luxury coaches, coasters or small vehicles. For domestic tours we use air-conditioned/ air-cooled/ Non-AC coaches, tempo travellers, mini coaches, cars, jeeps, taxies depending on the type of the tour, itinerary, road conditions and number of guests in the tour.

Will I get front seat in the bus/ coach?

Seating arrangement in the coach/bus/tempo traveller shall be strictly as per the booking date priority i.e. the guest who books first will get the seats in the front and so on. Seat allotment excludes prime seats (1,2) & tour manager/ guide seats (3,4); that means guest seat allotment will start from seat number 5 onwards. If you wish to opt for front seat/s, then you can book the Prime Seats subject to availability at an additional price. In case of small cars, the seating will be on rotation basis.

On Tour
Who will be my Tour Manager, Girl or Boy?

Your Tour Manager may be a lady or a gentleman. But do not worry as all Tripmaza Tour Managers are efficient, enthusiastic, caring, and professional. They will make sure that you enjoy the tour. Tripmaza Tour Manager will meet you at the first destination of the tour and will be there throughout the tour, including all the sightseeing places.

What are the essential things that I should carry on tour?
  • Mobile phone with appropriate charger and valid post-paid sim car
  • Clothing - 2-3 Jeans / trousers, 4-6 Tops/ Shirts/ Kurta, carry a pair of Thermal and 1 Jacket/ Sweater, heavy woollens etc. heavy woollens if you are travelling to colder places during winter.
  • Comfortable sports shoes for daily use and a pair of slippers if needed.
  • Sufficient face masks, hand sanitizer, hand gloves, hand wash, and toiletries.
  • Your medicines with your doctor's valid prescription
  • Sufficient cash along with your credit/ debit cards for any last-minute requirements.
  • Small bottles (upto 50ml) of liquid or lotions should be kept in a transparent zip lock pouch in your handbag.
  • Any liquid or lotion bottle above 50 ml as well as items prohibited in carry-on handbag by airline, must be kept in your check-in bag.
  • It is prohibited to carry items like guns, pistols, ammunition, drugs, explosives, fireworks, sharp items etc. in the aircraft.
  • Mobile battery or power bank must be carried with you in your handbag/purse and not in cargo bag.
  • Mandatory Documents to carry on tour:
    • Adults: Valid photo ID (original voter ID/ Aadhar Card/ Driver's License/ Passport).
    • Child: Aadhar Card/ Passport.
    • Infants: Birth Certificate 
  • Download Aarogya Setu App on your mobile phone which you would be carrying on tour.
  • Covid-19 negative RTPCR from ICMR approved lab, if required by the state or city you are visiting.
How much money I should carry on my tour?

Tripmaza generally includes all services and maximum sightseeing as per the tour itinerary. However, guests should carry sufficient money for their personal expenses, shopping, optional sightseeing, local delicacies, beverages, additional facilities offered by the hotel/resorts, etc., and also for any emergency due to medical reasons or unforeseen/force majeure situations. For your international tour, you can carry money in the form of foreign exchange (local currency), international credit or debit card, or forex card. In most of the countries, ATMs are available for withdrawals with a marginal fee.

Can I keep my passport and currency with tour manager?

You have to take care of your important documents, passport, currency and valuables on your own. tour manager cannot take responsibility of such things.

How will I get information about my day's program on tour?

You will receive your day-wise tour itinerary program on your registered email ID. However, sometimes in unavoidable situations, your Tour Manager may shuffle the day program. For smooth operation and clarity of instructions, Tripmaza Tour Manager will create a WhatsApp group for all its guests on the second day of the tour (In rare cases, due to unavailability of internet, this may not be possible). This group would be created solely for sharing tour-related instructions and the next day's tour program.

What if I am late to my sightseeing place?

To ensure smooth execution of tours and to cover every sightseeing attraction, it is important for you to be punctual and abide by the day's schedule and complete the sightseeing/ program as per the itinerary. In case if you do not report to the coach at the given time, the coach will proceed to the next point/destination in the program and you will be required to join group at the next point/ destination on your own.

Can we carry liquor bottle and cigarettes on tour?

As per the airline and destination policy, you can carry the liquor bottle/s or cigarettes, however we have a strict 'no smoking' and 'no alcohol' policy in the coach or dining halls or group assembly.

Where can I buy a sim card for the tour?

In this era of fast communication, you can activate international calling facility on your cell phone or you can buy sim in India before departure or you can buy local sim card on arrival at the destination.

Will I have enough time to shop?

Generally there is some free time in the itinerary, so that you can enjoy shopping for local souvenirs, handicrafts, specialty items etc.

Are there good, clean toilets/ restroom facilities en-route on tour?

Tripmaza gives importance to cleanliness and hygiene and tries it's level best to give en-route halts at good restaurants available. However, at few undeveloped or remote regions, we have to manage with basic facilities available there.

Do you have doctors on tour?

Doctor or medical personnel is not appointed on tour. Of couse we are well connected with local doctors and hospitals in case of any emergency on tour.

Can I skip sightseeing and do my own program?

You can skip sightseeing on a group tour and do your own program by intimating the tour manager. However, you will not get any refund for any such skipped service or sightseeing.

Visa
Do I need to take visa for my tour on my own?

Visa is mandatory for an international tour, and you must ensure that you possess valid visas for your tour. If you booked a group tour, the visa is included in the tour price, and Tripmaza will arrange to process your visa once you submit all necessary documents. We are visa facilitators and will assist you in preparing visa documents and guide you regarding the formalities of each country. We will also submit and collect your passports from the consulate on your behalf, wherever possible. At the same time, you can choose to arrange your own visa without Tripmaza's assistance. In such a case, you can avail of a visa fee reduction in your tour price.

What is the visa process?

VISA process and documentation for the same depends on the country/s your are visiting and the respective consulate. Once you book the tour, Tripmaza's visa executive will share the list of documents required for visa. You have to submit all correct documents as per the schedule given by the visa executive. Once received, your visa application process will be initiated. At each step of the visa process, Veena World will communicate with you through SMS and email.

How and when will I know that my visa is done?

Though Tripmaza assists you to process the visa, granting of the visa is at the sole discretion of the respective country/ consulate. Certain consulates will communicate with you directly and will send the passport to your registered residence address. Some consulates intimate Tripmaza about your visa, which will be immediately conveyed to you by your travel advisor/ visa executive.

I already have valid visa for the tour, what shall I do?

If you have valid visa for the tour, please get it checked from Veena World travel advisor in terms of validity and duration of stay with respect to the scheduled tour. If the visa is valid, you can avail visa fee reduction in tour price. Therefore, your travel advisor must be intimated about your visa at the time of booking itself.

If my visa is rejected, then what's next?

As granting of a visa is not within Tripmaza's control, it is possible that a visa may be rejected for various reasons, which the consulate may or may not disclose. For my international tour, I am planning to take my grandson with me, is it ok?

Yes of course. If your grandson is a minor (below 18 years) then parents' NOC is required while applying for visa. Your and your grandson's visa must be applied together at the same time.

Insurance
Do I need Travel Insurance for my tour?

We recommend that, all the guests travelling within India or overseas must possess Travel Insurance.

Does my tour price include insurance?

If you book an international group tour, overseas travel insurance is included in the tour price for the guests below 59 years of the age. For guests above 59 years of age also, it is partly included, but since the premium is higher than the amount included in the tour price s/he is required to pay the difference in premium separately. In you are booking Indian group tour or Customized Holidays or Corporate Tours (MICE), then you will have to purchase your travel insurance separately on your own either through Tripmaza or from any of your resources.

What is covered under my insurance policy?

Group tour insurance policy included in the tour price has a limited cover which may include loss of baggage, flight delays/ cancellation, hospitalization, death, repatriation, evacuation etc. to a certain extent. Few adventure activities which are a part of the tour itinerary may or may not be covered in the insurance policy.

What are Customized Holidays?

Customized Holiday’ means a tailor-made holiday designed as per the requirements of an individual traveller either in India or across the seven continents. This segment is also known as FIT. These holidays are created by Tripmaza exclusively for a family or a group of friends after understanding their likes, dislikes, and travel needs. Unlike group tours, here you can pick and choose your travel dates, pace of your holiday, style of accommodation, sightseeing attractions, adventure activities, experiences like scenic train journeys, private chauffeur-driven cars, self-drive cars, cruises, private jets, city tours by hop-on hop-off buses, jet boating, hot air ballooning, skydiving, sunset sailing, culinary classes, perfume making, etc. If you are looking for privacy and solitude with your family and friends, then Customized Holidays is the perfect option for you.

Can I book my ready-made holiday online on your website?

What is included in my customized holiday package?

In customized holidays there are two options, ready-made and tailor-made. Ready-made holidays can be booked as you see it on the website and tailor-made holidays are curated as per your requirements. The inclusions in ready-made holiday package are mentioned on the website and generally covers accommodation on twin sharing basis, breakfast and dinner (set menu), sightseeing as per the itinerary and transfers by comfortable AC/Non AC coach. For tailor-made packages, you can pick and choose inclusions.

Are all meals included in a Customized holiday?

To book any tour/package/service, you have to make payment to Tripmaza by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Payment apps/wallets like BHIM, PhonePe, Gpay, PayTM, or any UPI ID. What documents are required to book a Customized holiday?

Generally air ticket, visa and insurance are not included in customized holiday packages. Of course Tripmaza can assist you to book these services at an additional price.

When will I get confirmed service vouchers/ documents for my holiday?

Once you make the full payment of your holiday, Tripmaza will process your booking and will issue all relevant service vouchers/ documents within 15 days. In case of a last minute booking, service vouchers/ documents will be handed over 3/2/1 day(s) prior to the departure day.

Can we get a Tripmaza tour manager on our customized holiday?

Generally, Tripmaza Tour Manager services are available on group tours, but if you wish to enjoy the expertise of a Tripmaza Tour Manager for your customized holiday, you can request it. Kindly ask your travel advisor to include Tour Manager service in your package and get it re-priced accordingly.

What is a Holiday Design Fee?

Tripmaza offers flexibility to guests who do not wish to opt for the readymade holiday itineraries available on the website. Our Travel Advisors assist such guests in creating their customized, tailor-made holiday based on their requirements and interests. A non-refundable Holiday Design Fee (HDF) of INR 1500 for India and INR 3000 for World must be paid at the time of inquiry. The HDF is adjusted in the booking amount if the holiday is booked within 20 working days from the date of receiving the payment. HDF includes only two free amendments in the itinerary.

Do Customized Holidays have a price guarantee?

If you are booking a ready-made package displayed on the website, the price committed to you at the time of booking is honored. If you are opting for a tailor-made holiday, the final price will be honored subject to the availability of your preferred services. In such cases, we will try to book alternate services at the same price; however, if those services are unavailable or sold out, we may need to upgrade the services, which may incur an additional price. In any unavoidable or force majeure situation, extra expenses may be incurred for both readymade or tailor-made packages, which must be borne by the guest.

What is the cancellation policy for a Customized holiday?

If guest decides to cancel the customized package for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall immediately give a written application to the Company along with the original receipt issued by the Company. Cancellation charges will be applicable as per the Cancellation Policy (https://info.tripmaza.com/Company/Cancellations). Any non-refundable third party service like airline, cruise, hotel etc. may attract full cancellation in addition to the applicable cancellation charges mentioned in Tripmaza's cancellation policy.

How long does it take to process a refund?

As per the Cancellation and Refund Policy, the applicable refund will be processed within 10 working days of confirmation of the cancellation.

What is the mode of payment in case of a refund from Tripmaza?

As per GOI regulations, any applicable refund from Tripmaza for both, Indian or International tours will be paid by A/C payee cheque/ NEFT/RTGS in Indian rupees only, even if you have made the tour payment partly or fully in foreign currency.

What happens when Veena World cancels a tour?

Whenever Tripmaza cancels the tour due to any operational reason or inadequate participation of the guests required to operate a group tour, Tripmaza refunds the amount paid by the guest within 10 working days of cancellation of the tour.

Where can I buy foreign exchange for my international tour?

You can buy foreign exchange at Veena World Forex Pvt. Ltd. in the form of cash; your travel advisor can facilitate the purchase. Alternately, you can buy from any other authorized money changer (FFMC) or from any Bank dealing in foreign exchange.

How much foreign currency should I carry while traveling abroad?

Generally, group tours are all-inclusive. For optional sightseeing/ activities, shopping or any emergency you can carry sufficient foreign exchange. For individual travel or Customized Holidays, you should get an idea about the expenses in advance and buy the foreign exchange accordingly. Your travel advisor can guide you for same. As per GOI and RBI regulations, any person travelling abroad can carry maximum of USD 2,50,000 in one financial year. However, only USD 3000 of that amount can be carried as currency notes, the balance has to be loaded in a prepaid forex card.

As per RBI regulations, any Indian traveller returning from abroad needs to surrender unused foreign currency notes within 180 days of his/her return to India. Every traveller must use coins before entering India as coins cannot be exchanged for INR.
